Trinity 2 Final Test Review

E-mail Print PDF

t2Trinity 2 has been in development for quite awhile now after consecutive Closed Beta Tests and rework, I believe the game closing in on it's finish product. It has been awhile since I have played an enjoyable side-scrolling multiplayer online action RPG. I have been testing games of this genre out a lot during the past few months. I must say Trinity 2 is the only game that kept me glued down to my seat during a whole testing session, which is roughly about seven hours straight!

Character Creation

The character customization for Trinity 2 was very light so I didn't spend that much time creating my character. Some of the customizable features in the character creation process were the characters face, hair, hair color, height, and etc. There are a lot of playable classes in Trinity 2 Online, so you'll have to check out the official trailers for the class that fits your style. Classes aren't gender locked which could be a big plus to players who are very picky.

Lowbie Gameplay

After I finished creating my character it put me in some kind of tutorial area, I decided to skip tutorials because they are always boring and lengthy. Skipping the tutorial didn't have much of an impact for me since I have played a lot of games similar to this genre. I decided to pick up my quests and attack the first few dungeons of the game. I found myself repeating the same dungeons at least two-three times, which wasn't that bad. The arrows keys are used to move around and then you can macro some of your skills to your hot bar. Some of the skills given to my character can be executed by arrow commands and such. For example, my class can execute a blue Hadoken fireball by pressing the Down then Forward X key.

Level 20 Gameplay

Trinity 2 felt a little bit repetitive around level 13ish because I was spamming the same combos over and over repeatedly to get a really high score at the end of the dungeon. With only two levels away from my job change, I knew I had to stick around longer just to see how the Striker class was. The game was a lot more exciting after changing classes to the Striker class, I spent an hour in the training room coming up with all kinds of combos for my new class. Trinity 2 didn't really feel like a grindy game, I was able to get level 22 by the time I finished the first day of testing. The final test was capped at level 40, so I was already half way from the current level cap.
