Popstage Rhythm MMO Music game is one of my favorite music games of all time. Not just because everything is so cute and cel shaded but the song selections are very good and new songs come out almost weekly. By the end of this week they will reach over 100 songs! So why play Popstage other than all those other music games? Let's find out why inside!
Solo Practicing! in HD Mode
Your character gender is linked to your account so if you want to play girl or boy character tough luck! Unless you can get a friend to help you with their own info so that you can play as their specific gender. Anyway once you log on for the first time you are prompt with three avatars for your gender type. You can unlock other hairstyles and faces in the shop later among many other things. Let me warn you guys now I am no good music rhytm games haha so when watching the upcoming videos please forgive me^^.
Coop Mode Preview NM Mode
Popstage has a lot of items to offer in it's in-game shop not just your usual clothing store. You can buy hair styles, faces, emotes, custom boards, custom music buttons and special set clothing. Or if you would like to save money you can do group missions and unlocks. By playing a certain songs with a full party you can unlock medals which can accumulate and you can collect your set special reward either it be a lot of gold or a set clothing that lasts a month. The only down side to this is you have to match some players game mode and you must finish it before the end of the month because these group quests change monthly!
Shopping Store!
The music selection in this game is pretty good mostly all pop but none of those hip hop latest songs that you would hear from the radio. Most of the songs I say can be related to Anime'ish style which fits the mood and theme of this game. There are some songs you may notice that are from other games like Sneak2, Cross Time, and other songs by Brandy. I have yet to find a Popstage song that I dislike playing.
