Neowiz Games and Taito's upcoming project Puzzle Bobble sure does bring back a lot of nostalgic memories. I've managed to get to try out the game during it's last day of Closed Beta Testing. I was really excited trying out the new features like VS mode and Item mode against five other players. Though I didn't expect to get my ass beat on vs mode by other fellow Puzzle Bobble players. It took me awhile to get used to the game again, but after few hours of playing non stop. I was finally able to achieve a bunch of first places without getting lucky.
Puzzle Bobble Excitement
I couldn't decide what section to put this under, so it crash landed under the sports section even though it's a puzzle game. Puzzle Bobble has a lot of game modes to offer like Single Player mode, for those who enjoy the classic style gameplay. The single player mode has a leader board system, I thought it was going to be easy getting in the top 10 player scores but these players actually try to get their bobbles near the death line so they can score high.
Single Player
There is also item mode and the original mode, I didn't get to play item mode much, for it was going to be a bit complicated for me. If you know me, I am not that awesome when it comes to puzzle games. I played a lot of FFA VS mode, this mode was a lot of fun. I haven't had a chance to try out team mode, if I did then I would probably be making lots of my fellow team mates angry!

There is a shop available in game if you want to customize your character, buy new pets, and other things. You can preview it in below. They will probably fill this shop with a lot of purchasable fun and cutesy looking things in the fure, can't wait to see them all.

I can already tell this is going to be a popular title towards many casual players along with a lot of girls. Since games go by pretty fast and you can jump into action right away.
