XLGAMES just patched ArcheAge today with new ingame mechanics featuring siege warfare in the Northern Continent. They also added a new world boss in the Northern Continent, this boss drops a specific item that is used to declare war on guilds who own a specific piece of land in. The amount of players that can participate during a siege is currently limited to 100 players for now, which is rather small compared to the massive PvP going on in the Northern Continent.

XLGAMES also implemented a new feature where guilds can fortify the area they control by building multiple walls, entrance wall, and defensive towers in their area. You can check out some of the new buildings implemented in the latest patch here.

... I thought I heard that in the third continent people were free to destroy whatever they want, or is that only if you control the land? I was just thinking it could be a common greif to build a house inside some guilds "fortress" just to piss them off and waste their space. And thanks for replying, I really appreciate it. |
