After consecutive beta tests Ragnarok Online 2 Legend of the Second is closing in on it's final release. With the final test kicking off just yesterday, I decided jump in on the fun and see how much the game has changed. Male Character Creation
Character creation hasn't changed much during the past few tests, other than the availability of the Archer class. I recorded them both for the sake of having the latest character creation, this is the final version right? I don't have the slightest idea either, it does say the final test. Unfortunately, something went wrong during my conversion and the character creation for the male class is only in 720p, while the female class is maxed to 1080p.
Female Character Creation
Stating the obvious from character creation videos above, you can change your looks by using the left and right arrow keys on the screen. The CC process is little above average, don't expect some crazy customization going on here. Character customization is limited to hair, voice, and face, eyes, and etc. No boob sliders either I mean you can't adjust your height and stuff. Though it shouldn't be much of a problem, as the original RO was the same. Then you have your playable classes and job professions which are located on the far left and right hand of the screen. There are five starting classes which are Swordsman, Magician, Archer, Thief, and Acolyte located on the far left hand of the screen. Then on the far right hand of screen you have Chef, Alchemist, Tailor, and Blacksmith.
The gameplay is point & click and the W,A,S,D keys is used to move around. After successfully targeting a monster with your left mouse button or the tab key you can then spam skills located on your skill bar on the bottom side of the screen. You can bunny hop around with the spacebar key, which is a big plus to me. Most of the quests are shared between party members so you don't have to kill or hunt twice of everything. Pretty awesome if you want to jump in on this game with another friend or two.
