Red Blood Online CBT First Look

E-mail Print PDF

mainRed Blood Online Closed Beta Test also known as the Burning Party Test took place last night. Having some extra free time, I decided to do a first look preview of the game. The open CBT proved to be very popular that they had to Open up another server! The game itself did have a rather enjoyable hack and slash feel to it and the graphics maxed out looked really awesome. Enough of me yapping around, come check out the mini preview below along with some 1080p gameplay trailers that we all love.

Character Creation

Only three out of the four classes were playable during the Burning Party Test and they were Knight, Warrior, and Sorcerer. Character customization seemed pretty simple, I kind of had trouble deciding on what kind of face I wanted for my character. I was almost tempted to play a guy character since the female faces didn't look all that appealing. I'm not sure if I am exaggerating things too much but the female body proportions seems kind weird, the guy looks awesome though haha!

First Look Gameplay Preview Part 1

Red Blood seemed like a mixture of Tera and Mabinogi Heroes aka Vindictus Online. Not that it's a bad thing, you can tap W W to make your character sprint or hold shift to run. Running consumes your yellow bar, which I assume is called your stamina bar, blocking with the Knight's Shield also consumes your stamina bar. I actually enjoyed Red Blood Online's combat gameplay, something about it felt a little bit new. The one thing I noticed about the gameplay that threw me off a lot of times is how the characters movement or model seemed a bit stiff. Am I the only one getting this vibe, there is definitely something wrong with the body or model that I can't quite put my finger on.
