Been awhile since I've written a new Tera Online Destruction of the Beasts Tera Online report! Yup, I am still playing the game and resubscribed another month of it, so that I can continue pumping out information to the Tera community. This report might be a bit boring for you if you aren't interested in Tera fashion and looks. I will be covering the dye system and the recent changes made to it. Dye dye just dye okay~
I know a lot of Tera users are still confused about the dye system to make things simple I posted a picture above and a video below showing what kind of dyes there are. I will be using the fixed NPC sold purple dyes, player made purple dyes, and Fixed Dyes. As you can see above the player made dyes are way better than the ones sold from the NPC. ALL dyes unless they are a Fixed Permanent has a maximum life time of 7 days, the timer for these dyes only go down while you're logged in. If you dyed your equipment blue today, quit and returned two weeks later it will still be blue. There are also Fixed Permanent Dyes, these dyes are untradeable, non auctionable, and unmailable. These dyes are only obtained only from events and stuck with you for life. Earning them is a bit hard so it's a good idea to stock up on em, hopefully they will be sellable in the future. Bluehole and Hangame likes to please players so that's why they came up with a patch where players can make more advance dyes like the one shown above. If enough people cry about dyes and stuff, they will probably make the Fixed Permanent Dyes tradeable.

Wondering how you can change the skin/avatar of your equipment with other items? Then check out the video above, you will have to skip to 13:00 to see how the process works. It costs a lot of money to change the look of your equipments but it's worth it, especially if you like your new look! Unfortunately you can not change the look of certain equipments or skin it with a random equipment that you pick up or buy. There are certain equipments that tells you whether or not the item look can be extracted or not. Help you out!? NPC's sell items but it's way overpriced and only the low level equipment/weapon look is available for extraction there. How will you change the look of your equipment then? When you're browsing the auction house, you can ctrl key + right click to view the equipment on your character before you purchase it. This should help fashionistas like you decide whether or not you want to buy the item, it also works for items sold from NPCs and player bazaars.
