Actoz Soft launched their first CBT for Wild Planet not long ago. I was a bit surprised at the current progress of the game. It's been awhile since a decent MMORPGFPS has come out. Does Wild Planet have what it takes to be the next top MMORPGFPS game though? Wild Planet Character Creation
The only sad part of the first CBT, was the lack of playable characters and the little character customization. There are only three playable characters for each faction, but the wide variety of weapons they can use more than makes up for it. Each character can use about three to four different types of guns. These guns range from Pistols, Rifles, Grenade Launchers, Rocket Launchers, SMG's, and etc. Wild Planet isn't only limited to guns though. There are also melee weapons that come really handy. Melee weapons have splash damage so every time you go around swinging at groups that are clustered together, be careful of not getting owned by hitting too many mobs at once.
Wild Planet Newbie Gameplay 01
You're probably wondering if Wild Planet is point and click MMORPG. Well, you've seen gameplay videos up to now. Wild Planets' gameplay pretty much resembles playing your average FPS game. Not much pointing and clicking is involve ingame other than picking up quests and learning new skills and such. I suppose this game could use a little more graphics tweaking since the graphics looked kind of plain or normal even on super high resolution. Or maybe the game's theme and color wasn't striking me good at that time.

Although the Closed Beta was a bit short, I am looking forward to the next and upcoming CBT's for Wild Planet Online.
