Gamepot Japan unlifted the IP block for their game Paperman or they either forgot to fix it. Paperman is one of my favorite FPS shooting games because the characters are really different. The game plays exactly the same as Counter-Strike but way better because you're shooting Paper characters. A lot of players have been messaging me and wanting to try out this game for a long time now, so now is your chance! I will be using old Paperman videos from Closed Beta since I can't record any game videos yet. Updated (They fix the IP Block again.)
Paperman and Tohou Music = Win
There are a lot of weapons now available in game, but they are quiet hard to farm. Some weapons may not suit you and if you end up buying a weapon you don't like, the game may frustrate you some more. For example my friend played for over ten hours and bought a sniper rifle. Little did he know, that this sniper rifle takes two hits to kill someone. The weapon may sound familiar to you if you are a Counter-Strike player. My three all time favorite guns are AK47, Steyr Aug, and any type of Sniper Rifles.
Sniping in Paperman is a little harder!
This is a must try out FPS game if you are an Otaku, FPS lover, and or just like cute anime looking characters. The wide variety of modes should keep you hooked and playing for a good month or two. Grab your friends and try out the game. Making an account is pretty easy since it's a Japanese game and the client is about 600mb only.

... Paperman is actually a Korean game, developed by Gravity and Cykan, which was, I guess, purchased by Gamepot. It was originally on Hangame.net and Cykan's website. It was supposed to be released to consoles as well, but that never happened. Oh, and when it was on it's original run in Korea, there was no IP block. Guess Koreans have a lot more tolerance for foreigners playing games with them than the Japanese. |
