H.A.V.E Online is an Online TPS Third Person Shooter that will be in Open Beta phase sometime during the 3rd quarter of this year. A new video has been released by SK-imedia and Triforce Studio that just blew my mind away. The video also reveals gameplay at the end of it so you know what you're in for when the game comes out for Closed Beta in the upcoming months. Come check out the full article for the video and screenshots of this crazy hectic TPS/FPS game.
H.A.V.E Online CG and Gameplay Trailer
Whoever thought Toys and Action figures can be so brutal? It reminds me a little bit of Toy Story and Team Fortress 2 gone crazy or something.
In the second part of the video you can see that the gameplay is very much like the CG intro that was presented in the first half of the video. Judging from the video it seems like there are a lot of weapons like, rifle, shotgun, grenades, stun nades, rocket launchers, shotgun, grenade launchers, gatling guns, and many more.
Now let's hope they release a bunch of maps when the game officially comes out along with a big range of character customization like S4 League Online. I did notice there were a lot of cute female action figurines but there weren't that much male or any male figures in the game? I hope they add some male characters unless they want to stick with those weird looking lego like male models or cyborgs? Anyway, wahh I want this game now!

... The game does remind me of TF2, expect the lack of engi, doc, and pyro. And that it seems to be in 3rd-person instead of first. Can't way to try it out myself. Also nice to see what game mode they come up with. |

... If you wish to play this game now, go buy tf2, not only is it a better game, they have mods which do the EXACT SAME THING AS THIS GAME.. yea, that's right, you can not only level up, but modify the ingame playermodels to look however you want, not only that but you can make custom weapons and even effects for them. miniguns that shoot flares anyone? Really, imitation may be the best way to flatter someone, but there is a line, this game crossed that line. " Kikku said: ... This game looks so unique and kick ass! Totally can't wait!! ... Well at least this game creates more publicity for TF2 so they can keep releasing more class updates xD. If anything its a combination of BF heroes and TF2 since its third person... |

... Are you people really this young... TF 2 was not the first to do what it does, mini guns, snipers, detonation weapons, they have all been in previous shooting tournament based games. I remember playing quake and doing the exact same exploding jump thing. |

... "but modify the ingame playermodels to look however you want, not only that but you can make custom weapons and even effects for them. miniguns that shoot flares anyone?" fail tf2 is fail, how many servers actually support custom models and have other custom shit (not that client sided crap where its only you seeing your own crap) |

... I would not mind a Team fortress 2 rip-off. Tf2 is a great game. Copying it would be a good thing. that said this takes it too far. For one thing, The video trailer for H.A.V.E. made me cringe. They stole from almost all of Tf2's 'meet the' videos. The whole trailer just seems to be a mash-up of the 'meet the' videos re-done with anime-style action figures. The animations line up perfectly (and I mean PERFECTLY) to 'meet the demoman', 'meet the sniper', 'meet the soldier'', and 'meet the scout' It was too perfect to be a coincidence. The only differences I've seen between TF2 and H.A.V.E. is that it is in third person and it has a lack of medics, with the medic's ubercharge now being a pick-up item. There's getting inspiration from something and then there's straight up stealing it. this is looking to be the latter. For shame, triforce studios, for shame. |

... Somehow I don't see this going over well in america. If the player models were created in any sort of common modeling program (XSI, 3ds MAX to name a couple) you could probably mod TF2 and create this game for it on the source engine. Mapping will need to be redone, but not difficult at all. You wouldn't even need to do much coding to support it. Item drops would be simple as there is already code that supports that. It would probably work like the dropped weapon models. I mean, seriously, for $12 or whatever was stated above, you can get the complete dev kit for the orange box engine, don't even have to actually purchase TF2 itself, just a game that runs on HL2: EP2. Did I mention that 3rd person mode is also already supported? I mean, really, with some HUD work, and very minor coding for drops and their effects, this game could be on the OB engine and people would love it just as much. Hopefully you can export or the models were made in XSI or 3ds max or something like that. |
