Aeria Games Japan's latest MMORPG Grand Fantasia Online will finally be in Open Beta phase on May 01, 2009. All data from previous Closed Beta tests will be deleted except for character names, gender, and looks. Registration for Open Beta and Client Downloads should be available in a few days.

I am currently playing the English, Closed Beta version with a very close friend of mine from a previous MMORPG, Fiesta, but that got old, and I played it for 2 and a half years, its full of drama and other stuff, but id rate it, maybe, or maybe not, 5.5-8.0 because of the Maps, Dungeons, and Equips(Swords, Shields, Armors, Rings, Necklaces, Etc,. Etc,.) But, Grand Fantasia outbeats Fiesta by a longshot, with its gameplay, easy to handle controls, and learning basics, Plus who doesnt love a cute pet? I mean really, guys Lol. Its so Adorable, adorable but a unique way to craft weapons,shield, armor and other things, they really put in as much detail as they could for this, even on Low Quality Graphics, they are still amazing, except for the "If your too far away, Other People will not have their animated models." Or something like that, Either way, the naming system is great, the class decisions are good, skills, hotkeybars, all easy to handle, if I was a game rater, I wud rate this game a 9.5-10.0 the reason why for the gap, Because my close friend kept dying by a goblin.. Lol. Anywho, I hope my post helps you guys  |

I have yet to play Grand Fantasia (http://bit.ly/GFage) but I heard that there are some mistranslations because the game is originally from Japan. Mistranslations are fine. What's more important is the gaming community. I like games with friendly people. I hope Grand Fantasia can offer this. |
