Tartaros Online is one of the hottest free to play K-MMO games of 2008 for many reasons. Unlike all the other K-MMO games that you have played Tartaros Online does NOT require you to point and click to attack your target. Infact you can't even click on the enemies with your mouse button. Now you are probably thinking in your head? How does one play a MMO without a mouse!? Impossible!! Only one way to find out...
Tartaros Anime Intro
First of I will explain the game controls! You can customize your controls ingame but the default one is using the arrow keys. You start of with few attacks ingame Z being the main mash button and X C for skills. Most games will have you equip your skills to 1-9 or F1-F12 but the skill system in Tartaros Online is different. Click on the picture bellow and scroll to the upper left of the image to see the main buttons you use. As you progress further and level up ingame you learn more skills and it auto equips it to Z, X, C, ZX, XC, V.
Now you are probably wondering what you only get 6 buttons!? No no no! If you press the "V" button it will unlock a 2nd set of skills which are like " special" which are stronger moves that you don't learn until later levels. Then after that bar is filled up there is a 3rd set of skills which in this time requires to hold down the "V"button then press any of the following buttons Z, X, C.
By now it is pretty safe to say that all those little kids won't be saying that this game is a "WoW" clone. now that we got the controls down it's time to move on to the story. You start the game with only a few characters and the more you progress into the story line you unlock more characters. When unlocking these new characters they start off as Level 1 but you can use the special training button in which it will auto level up the character to a certain level. Tartaros Online is a very user friendly game that you don't need any knowledge of Korean to actually play the game and have fun. Like picking up quests, owning players in PvP, or mauling through the story line.
