Steparu.com managed to get their hands on a live demo on the newest build of Final Fantasy XIV. The current FFXI build has an improved character creation screen. They also said that they have made changes to the gameplay mechanics, so that the game will play faster than the original builds. I've recorded a couple gameplay videos, along with a few character creation videos for a certain races, being a die hard sucker for cute stuff. I wouldn't miss a character creation screen for the Lalafell race. You can check out the three videos that I recorded for FFXIV below! Sadly, my station had a pre-made character and I didn't get to record any Lalafell gameplay.

The current build shown in E3 is looking good. If all else goes well, during the last day Alpha Test this Saturday. Then FFXIV will be moving on to it's next phase. Final Fantasy XIV will be in it's next stage of testing, no one knows as to whether the next test will be an open-closed beta test where all players can sign up or a just a regular closed beta test. Keep your fingers closed, and hope that this game will be having a new testing phase within a month or two.

... :x unfortunately SQUARE-ENIX has a tendency to not learn by its mistakes.. FF14 is nothing more then a FF11 with a better visual look :x battles will sill be boring as hell to the average MMO'er. Just hope they didn't made the leveling as hardcore as it is in FF11.. |
