Steparu's Best of 2009 week is here! There are a lot of games that came out in the year 2009 that I have tested Open and Closed Beta. This list will contain mostly foreign online games with a mix of some games that are also out in English. Think you have missed a game in the year 2009 that was worth trying out? Check out Steparu's top three Best of 2009 Online games that's a must try, when you get the chance. OMG doesn't stand for what you think it does, Online Music Game is what it stands for though. The burst of music games released in Korea slowed down last year, so there weren't that much new ones try out.  Come check out the old and new music games of 2009.

1st Place - Band Master

Band Master Online would have to be my first pick, if I had to recommend a music game to every one. Playing a music game online can never get any better than Band Master Online. Grab a group of friends, and setup your own band online playing different kinds of instruments. Sure, the pressure is on the person that messes up the most. You can also battle out against others playing the same instrument if you prefer to gauge your limit and compete against others. There are a lot of playable modes along with a new mode that was just recently introduced last month.

2nd Place - Popstage

When it comes down to music games and cute anime style characters. Popstage would have to be the best music game out there with these kind of features. Popstage has been out for awhile now, but they are still constantly updating their music tracks and clothing shop store. It has around five game modes from easy to ultra hard and 5-7key buttons for intermediate and expert music game players. This game is so good that it stayed installed on my computer. Popstage has it's own unique music selection that you will probably not find in other games.

3rd Place - Krazy Rain

Even though Krazy rain is third place I would probably recommend this game to players who enjoyed playing the DJMAX and O2Jam series. This is probably one of the hardest music games I have played online. Krazy Rain is currently in a testing phase but players from all over the world can join. It's also constantly being updated, their last released featured a bunch of xmas winter and new year songs. Krazy Rain features mostly hard fast mixes. A must try for players who enjoy challenging songs, or just simply bored of ezmode online music games.

4th Place - Debut Online

Debut Online is the only game you will probably get where you can customize your characters height, weight, and looks very well. The ingame music system is also very different and unique compared to all the other music games currently out in the market. Debut Online will also be making it's way to the states under the title called Dance Groove Online, which is currently in testing phase. When I first played the Korean version last year, it seemed like they were up to date with the latest K-Pop songs.

5th Place - Love Beat

PlayNC's Love Beat Online probably has the most outfits and costumes that I have ever seen in an music game. The gameplay and game modes are similar to that popular world wide dancing online game called Audition. Many Audition players are playing this game while waiting for the next upcoming whole new title Audition2. The characters in Love Beat are also cute which makes players try out the game.
