Steparu's Best of 2009 week is here! There are a lot of games that came out in the year 2009 that I have tested Open and Closed Beta. This list will contain mostly foreign online games with a mix of some games that are also out in English. Think you have missed a game in the year 2009 that was worth trying out? 1st Place - Dragon Ball Online
It's Dragon Ball + Online need I say more? Even though I wasn't much of a Dragon Ball fan like those die hard otaku's out there, I found Dragon Ball Online to be interesting and believe that it will have a lot of potential. Stress Test is coming up in a few days along with Open Beta late next week. If you haven't watched the Anime, you still have a lot of time to get to know more about the game. Everything you see in Dragon Ball is currently implemented in game ranging from power ups, super saiyan, explosive attacks, beam of deaths, fast punches, and one hour long charges(not really).

2nd Place - Emil Chronicle Online (Global)
Emil Chronicle has been out in Japan for awhile now, but many players never got a chance to try the game out due to the language barrier. Developed by Gravity ECO was in high demand due to it's similarities that resembles Ragnarok Online. The English global version was released mid 2009, even though the game has been out for many years, it's still one of the more popular AMMORPG's out there. This is a must try game if you haven't played any of the other versions yet.

3rd Place - Le Ciel Bleu Online
Le Ciel Bleu is every otakus dream online game. It's the only MMORPG out there that currently has a job called Maid / Butler. The best part is about Le Ciel Bleu is the wide variety of costumes available in this game that aren't cash shop exclusive. For example if you have a cat fetish, you can dress up your character to be a neko mimi meido :3 (Cat Ears Maid). On top of the epic playable Maid and Butler classes there are a bunch of other cool playable classes in Le Ciel Bleu Online. Even if you don't understand TW or JP the auto walk to quest makes this game foreign friendly.

4th Place - iL:Soul Bringer
iL:Soul Bringer is an upcoming MMORPG by Nflavor, most players think that the game looks a bit average and generic, but once you start playing the game you will notice the difference. iL: Soul Bringer offers a beautiful fantasy themed world with a lot of blooming effects and smooth gameplay. For one thing, the character movements for in this game is definitely different. No new information as to when Open Beta will start, but I think it will be soon. After all the game has gone through three CBT's already.

5th Place - Project E
When it comes down to anime chicks and guns, there is no better MMORPG out there other than the upcoming game called Project E. Don't get me wrong now though, there are male characters in game. But they don't have much cute, I mean manly outfits as the female characters do in this game. Project E's feels like a more upgraded version of Phantasy Star Universe. It is still to early to give any critical judges about Project E since it is still currently in Alpha Phase but every anime fan should keep this game on their tab.
