Steparu's Best of 2009 week is here! There are a lot of games that came out in the year 2009 that I have tested Open and Closed Beta. This list will contain mostly foreign online games with a mix of some games that are also out in English. Think you have missed a game in the year 2009 that was worth trying out? Check out Steparu's top three Best of 2009 Online games that's a must try, when you get the chance. Craving for some fast paced games to try out? Tired of the same old point and click system? No, problem! Check out the 2009's best MOARPG below.
1st Place - Mabinogi Heroes
Mabinogi Heroes wins the Steparu's Best of 2009 Gold Award. It's not just the blood spurting around every where that makes Mabinogi Heroes Online successful. Unlike most massive online action RPG's out there, Mabinogi Heroes require you to actually think before you fight or engage in boss battle. Almost all of the MOARPG's that I have tried this year, are just mindless skill spamming that's pretty fun but can get boring after awhile. In Mabinogi Heroes skill spamming isn't possible, one wrong move during a boss fight and you will find yourself eating dirt. I am pretty confident that this game will satisfy your needs.

2nd Place - Continent of the Ninth
Continent of the Ninth barely won Steparu's Best of 2009 Gold Award. It was a very hard decision for me since C9 is one of my favorite MOARPG's out there. Continent of the Ninth has by far the best PvP gameplay you will ever experience with a MOARPG, it is even played on a competitive level in Korea. Continent of the Ninth is the fastest paced MOARPG currently available that you can try out. NHN Hangame is doing a very fine job with the amount of content being released for this game, they have already released a bunch of updates and will also be releasing a new character soon.

3rd Place - Tartaros
Coming in 3rd place with the bronze title is Tartaros Online, one of the most overlooked MOARPG's out there in the year 2009. The graphics may not be your next gen online game top notch, but that doesn't really matter just as long as you are having fun. Tartaros offers one of the best stories that you will ever experience in a MOARPG. It also has the most playable characters that you can try and mess around with, not to mention they have a bunch of cute outfits and accessories. This Anime styled themed game feels a bit more like you are playing an online visual novel game, with an awesome gameplay system. Almost forgot to mention, this game has the best BGM's ever!

4th Place - Dragon Nest
Nexon and Eyedentity games Dragon Nest almost got 3rd place. This is one of the more faster paced MOARPG's currently available in the online foreign gaming world. Dragon Nest offers four unique playable characters and a wide variety of dungeon difficulties. Having tried the first CBT of Dragon Nest, it is a very easy and user friendly MOARPG. Dragon Nest would have probably made it in the top three if it was officially released, Open Beta is scheduled for released sometime this year 2010. Maybe then, it will reach the top three of Steparu's Best of 2010 MOARPG.

5th Place - Monster Hunter Frontier
Monster Hunter, the number one hit game ported from the original console to series to an online version called Monster Hunter Frontier version makes it way to 5th place. It would probably in the top three, but the game has been out for awhile now in Japan. Although it is here in this list because it was recently released in Korea published by Hangame. Monster Hunter Frontier is one of the best games that offers huge gigantic omega boss fights. Both Japanese and Korea version are still constantly being updated with new content. A must try game if you enjoy fighting bosses and utilizing your gaming skills to the fullest.
