Aurora Games which was recently formed this year is a new game portal company that will be releasing a couple new titles next year. Among many of their upcoming new titles, Timesphere was the one to catch my eye. It is an upcoming sidescrolling 2D action game. Even though the game is still at it's early stage Timesphere looks like a game that will have potential. There were only two available playable characters at G★2009 but in the future there will be a total of around three to four. In Timesphere Online you can travel to other planets and grind through different kinds of addictive dungeons.
All the characters are rendered in 3D just like Nexon Korea's Elsword Online, which was my first thought when I saw the game. Just like most online games, Timesphere will also have a PvP system. PvP is essential for these types of games in my opinion because PvP is what made Elsword Online very popular next to the massive amounts of content updates it goes through. Closed Beta is supposed to be scheduled before this year end, if not early next year. As for international expansion outside of Korea, the game will probably benefit more in Japan first.
