Fantasy Earth Zero's new class is Fencer but is it really all that worth it? From the looks of the video the class seems a bit... useless. Having played FEZ hardcore this class seems like a very boring class to play. Check out the video of this class by clicking here.
Fencers
Fencer seems to look like more of a front line support from the video and it's damage is very sad. I hope they didn't show all of it's moves in that video or else no one would be actually playing this class but to look sassy.

Fencer I haven't played it yet but it honestly looks really useful, if you take a look at how fast he pulls off his skills and the damage you can sort of see that it's an anti-warrior class which warriors still have no nemesis right now as they can pretty much kill archer scouts and mages though they might have a little trouble with dagger scouts but not much. They look really useful and I can't wait until they get implemented then those silly warriors can't just dive in and suicide bomb to get a few cheap kills at least some of the time xD |

... Fencer is a good class. Fencer opposes Cestus, and Cestus opposes Fencer; they don't have anything to do with the paper->rock->scissor->paper system that the warrior, scout, and mage has. Fencer, overall, is an extremely fast and heavy attacker, capable of hitting people while they're down, and block-countering a person's attack. Several of their attacks are also reliant on knock-back, and rushing. This makes them a relatively strong class, and indeed, many people even consider them overpowered. They are, however, completely "solo" type, where it has relatively no AoE attacks nor splash, unlike other classes. But keep in mind that fighting one of these isn't a joke. And to answer your question, no they aren't useless per se since any class can technically be useful with a good player. But honestly, this class is nothing more than a character killer, where killing is an art, and the Fencer is the most successful artist... (besides Wraith!-but that isn't a class.) |

... Fencer is mainly just a front line supporter, They're able to move quickly and attack with immense speed. One of their first attacks allow you to knock someone down even if they have embolden on (Lvl. 2) and even hit them while they're down. (Lvl. 3) Their Flash Stinger skill practically replaces their normal attack, dealing 3 consecutive hits in one go and is able to flinch emboldened warriors. All in all they are a pure player killer since they can't really tear down structures (Unless they feel like sitting around for a good 10 minutes dealing 10 damage per hit) |
